Cash-strapped F1 outfit Force-India made history this week as the first team to launch a car, without the car being present.
The Silverstone-based team broke with a long-established tradition when they launched the new VJM-06 using only driver Paul di Resta and a set of 2013 overalls.
Unlike all the other teams on the grid, Force India have yet to announce their second driver, or even their reserve driver for the 2013 season. Now they have added to speculation by launching without a car.
A spokesman for the team denied rumours that they were waiting for cash from the second and third driver to finish it off.
